Github and Google authentication now included on the free tier

Updated

We want to make it as easy and secure as possible for teams to start using Pact in their organisations. Previously, only our paying tiers had access to our federated options, where users can be centrally managed by their IT administrators.

Today, we are pleased to announce the addition of two additional authentication modes for our free tier customers: the ability to login via Google and Github.

Getting started

Simply navigate to our Authentication Settings page within the application and configure your identity provider (you can configure multiple) and then logout.

Configure authentication on your Pactflow account

On your next login, you will now be presented with a screen similar to the below. Hit the relevant button and you should be prompted to authorise access to your account. The options shown will be determined by the configuration for your account:

Availability

Github and Google are available right now for new and existing accounts. Read more about our authentications options, and get started now!
